Properties
Kendeil’s capacitors are of the very highest quality standards and each capacitor’s parameters are tested before it comes off the production line, meaning that 100% of products leaving the factory have been tested for supply voltage/ripple current and ESR values at elevated temperatures in ovens.

Kendeil’s electrolytic capacitors can handle high ripple currents and have a low ESR value which warrant a long service life. Different variants are designed for optimal performance in the relevant application area.

START CAPACITORS

• Manufactured in compliance with EN60252-2
• Manufactured for 50 and 60 Hz
• Standard connection double flat pin 6.3 mm
• Overpressure valve in silicone rubber
• Usually delivered with cover and metal clips for mounting

Start capacitors are a capacitor type designed to increase motor starting torque of single phase motors during start-up. Because the capacitor is normally automatically (not for continuous operation) disconnected after start-up, a large bulk capacitance can be obtained in a small volume.

Typical applications
A capacitor designed for intermittent alternating current applications at 50-60 Hz for the start-up of single phase motors.

Properties

A high capacitance value (μF) to provide the single phase motor with sufficient starting torque for up-start.

RUN CAPACITORS

We stock high quality capacitors made by Comar in standard versions in the range 1 – 100 μF.
• Compliant with norm EN60252-1
• Manufactured for 50 and 60 Hz
• Standard version type MKA 450VAC with 250mm cable and M8 mounting bolt is held in stock
• Run capacitors are manufactured in various versions: MKA and MK in plastic casings and MKM in aluminium casings
• Connection with cable or flat pin
• Some types can be ordered in UL-approved versions
• Some types are manufactured with overpressure protection Class P2

Run capacitors are capacitors designed for continuous connection to alternating current (AC) motors. Run capacitors are used for single-phase motors and three-phase motors connected to single-phase supply.

Typical applications
Run capacitors are use for single-phase AC motors for many applications. Examples of typical applications are fan systems, radon gas vacuums, dehumidifiers, smaller pumps, heat pumps, floor grinders, concrete mixers, etc.
